Background information
With the arrival of new retail, the business context is experiencing earth shaking changes. All companies are exploring the new business model, of which Hema, Kuaishan, Tmall Convinience Store, Taoxianda are the most noticeable. However, traditional design thinking can’t provide a good experience for such context anymore. Thus, a new service design with full journey, multi-roles and full touch points become the new solution. In this workshop, I will share how to leverage design to empower new retail business, how to unify the design across the whole journey, as well as the strategy and method as to how to change traditional users.
