Changlin graduated from Shanghai Jiaotong University with a masters’ degree. He has nearly 10 years’ experience in user experience and have a profound understanding on business model too. Currently, he is the head of the Himalayan UED. He manages and builds the company's UI and operations design team, delivers the design for the company's various platforms, and focuses on the design improvements of the Himalayan main app. He worked in HP and also in Dianping, during which he was the senior interactive designer, responsible for the interactive design for the public comment functionality on the web and the mobile. Before that, he worked on the interaction design work for large backend system in Mexican Telecommunication. He has also participated in the writing and publishing of the book "design research".

Background information

Users can’t accept because the change is too much? Big backlog due to lack of development resources? Interaction behavior is inconsistent? Have you encountered a similar problem in your actual work? The Himalayan App has 400 million registered users that are widely distributed. Each change may cause trouble to the user. Based on these, we gradually modified the design of the entire Himalayan app based on modules, and impaired the user experience the least.
