Design Director Didi Chuxing

Tao Shen Design director of Didi Chuxing/ Judge of China Red Star Design Award/ Member of Beijing Municipal Science & Technology Commission He is mainly in charge of creative design in quick service brands, training, growth and influence establishment of Didi design system and other related work. His profession involves user experience, industry design and brand creative design. With 10-year design experience in mobile user experience, he proposed and initiated several design and management concepts such as “360° Integrated Experience” “Core Design Methodology on User Experience” “How to Work Smartly and Effectively for Design Teams”, which advocate a holistic view of design and experience building in all dimensions in either products design or integration of design resources. He was the founder of Jingdong (JD) Smart, design director of user experience and design head of JD Smart & JD+. While working for JD, he integrated 60 excellent design companies from mainland China, South Korea and Taiwan. He also provided various design consulting service to intelligent hardware entrepreneur teams and makers ranging from earlier stage like business strategies, brand positioning, product definition and user research, middle stage like detailed design and design implementation, to final stage like marketing and promotion. He helped them build great user experience from online to offline and from software to hardware, providing consumers with Internet hardware they really need. He launched JD+Design, an online design service(design.jd.com), to provide the optimal cost-effective design service to startup teams and traditional companies. His career experience includes Huawei, Ogilvy, Motorola, Baidu and JD.
