Zhendong Liu(刘振东) is design director of Shenzhen Fenqile Network Technology Co., Ltd, Lexin Group. Previously, he was a senior designer of Tenpay and a design expert of Alibaba.com and MTOP (Taobao Wireless Open Platform). He has worked as chief designer of all major projects of Tenpay from 2005 to 2012 and has been the team leader of visual design team of MTOP. Later he established Alibaba Shenzhen design team. He also worked as an art teacher, a design director of Hanjiaying advertising design Co., Ltd and he even started his own Internet securities company. After that he worked for Tencent and Alibaba for almost 10 years. In 2016, he joined Shenzhen Fenqile Network Technology Co., Ltd as the design director.

Background information

Big companies tend to assign very specific work to designers, who work like a screw on a big machine. And this may cause them unable to design from a comprehensive perspective;

Small companies tend to assign a whole project to designers, who have to know something in all aspects. And this may cause them unable to bring their specialties into full play and achieve professional improvements.

Lecturer will share some simple formulas and laws learned from his own working experience from branding, Internet, finance to e-commerce, and visual design experience from 2B(business to business) to 2C(customer to customer).
