Chief User Experience Officer for Big Data Kingdee International Software

Yuntian Liu is the Chief User Experience Officer in Kingdee International Software. Since 2002, Liu has been working for 15 years in the "User Experience Design" industry. He was the Director and Partner of the Shenzhen Studio of Tang Consultancy, and has been engaged in user experience design work in Tencent for nearly a decade. Liu Yuntian joined Kingdee in 2016 and is responsible for the experience design for Kingdee big data products. He has also built the big data user experience department in the company. 2016: Chief User Experience Officer in the Big Data Department in Kingdee International Software, responsible for the experience of large data products and the management of DXD (large data user experience department). 2013: Partner & director of the Shenzhen Studio of Tang Consultancy, responsible for the management, operations, customer development and the maintenance of Shenzhen Studio. As a project manager responsible for CITIC, seconds beat, go to the market experience design projects. 2009: Team lead of Tencent E-commerce design team, responsible for the management of Tencent’s E-commerce design team. He was the team lead for the design work for a lot of Tencent’s key projects including Paipai Wang, Yixun, and the ISUX official website blog. 2007: Senior interactive designer in Tencent CDC, in charge of the interaction design work for Tencent TAPD, CDC official website blog, QQ doctors and other projects.

Background information

In the past 15 years of, I found that whether you are a designer, a common employee, or the professional manager, you will need to have quick problem- solving skills. Although in projects our designers always follow and use those common design methods, most of the time the design findings and results can not impress the decision maker, or are regarded not "insightful".


This is a "data" era. We are faced with more and more challenges and competition. For designers, the biggest problem we face in the workplace is innovation, and I think that to be "insightful" is the key to enhance problem solving skills. The process of getting the insights is the process of innovation. I would like to use three hours to share what “insights” should be like, how to get it and how to enhance your ability to get insights.

1. Warm up: introduce the workshop agenda

3. Introduce the different toolkits in the core methodology 

4. Combine cases with our insightful approach
